阮家古厝
：菁寮老街墨林村(菁寮)191號，電話(06)6621261，阮齊主人，菁寮阮家店舖型古厝～金德興藥舖，推估建於清乾隆高宗年間，約有二百四十年的歷史。西元1910年由嘉義縣鹿草頂潭拆移遷建至後壁菁寮。本建築物屬於街屋形式之建築，其具閣樓形式，在台灣實屬稀少性，且具特殊性。
阮宅的歷史蠻傳奇，它原先座落嘉義縣鹿草鄉頂潭村，是某林家望族的祖厝，傳了三代，因家道中落，賣予後壁許遷，許遷運用拆遷技術，將宅第搬遷至現址。後來許家亦式微，轉賣與阮家，目前古宅的主人為 阮齊 先生。
古宅為閣樓式建築，佔地不大，建築面積僅 三十六點六坪 ，其整體建造完全由精密切割的木窗、樑柱、斗拱，依稀可見當年的風姿，牆壁精美的雕飾、彩繪層次明朗，是縣內少有的古建築。當時以市值 三甲 良

Mr. Ruan Qi, the owner of Jing Liao’s Ruan Family Historic House, has set up Jin De Xing pharmacy shop, they estimated that it was constructed in the reign of Qianlong Emperor in Qing dynasty, it has about 240 years history. In 1910, it was moved from Ding Tan village, Lu Cao district, Chiayi province to Houbi Jingliao up to present time. The building was designed in loft-style building. It is precious and unique style of building in Taiwan.
Ruan Family Historic House history is full of mysterious legend, it was originally located in Ding Tan village, Lu Cao district, Chiayi province, it was the ancestral home of Lin family, after 3 generations went by, due to the decline of their family, they sold it to Mr.Xu Qian,. Not too long, Xu family was also declining,เ then they sold to the third owner.And finally ,the third owner sold it to Ruan family.The current owner of this historic house is Mr. Ruan Qi.
The old house is loft-style building, covers small area, the building has altogether 120.78 square meters (1 Ping = 3.3 square meters), it is built entirely by using the best skill in cutting wood and turned it into good stlye windows, beams, and masts. It was valuable historic building in that period. With the beautifully carved walls, bright level of painting, are the unique character of this ancient buildings. At that time, even 3 Jia (the ancient money) still cannot buy these things.
